Product History

Rodney Reindeer was a successful Hallmark stuffed character introduced in 1979. His popularity grew throughout the 1980s, as the line was expanded to include a number of characters. It received national TV advertising and was licensed to Burger King with great success.

“Rodney’s endearing character is still as appealing today as it was more than 20 years ago when he debuted with Hallmark,” says Mary Schoepf, retail merchandise manager. “We’ve updated his look with a charming expression and squeezably soft fabric. We’re excited to bring him back to long-time Hallmark fans and to introduce him to a new generation of kids.”
